Description
The Sömmerda indoor swimming pool was built in 1975/1976. Since then, it has been used for school and club sports as well as for public swimming. The indoor swimming pool has been renovated, modernized and converted to be barrier-free several times. A swimmer's pool with 5 lanes of 25 meters and a water depth of 1.8 to 2 meters, as well as a non-swimmer's pool 10 meters x 6 meters and a water depth of 0.90 to 1.25 meters are available for public swimming. The water temperature is 28°C, 30°C on warm bathing days.
