Description
In contrast to the dynamic yoga styles, yin yoga is a passive and calm style. The asanas (yoga poses) are mainly performed sitting or lying down and are initially held for around 3-5 minutes. Through time and gravity, we get deep into the connective tissue. The deep muscles, ligaments, fascia and tendons are reached and stretched.
