Description
The practice of yoga in the tradition of Krishnamacharya is based on Patanjali's Yoga Sutra.
(1) Asana practice
In our practice, we focus on the body, the breath and our mind. We aim to imbue our asanas with the qualities of stability (sthira) and lightness (sukha).
We work on this together.
(2) Pranayama
The breath is the connection between the inside and outside of our body. In order for breath and body to come together, our mind must be attentive to this coordination of breath and movement. We practise breath awareness.
(3) The eight-limbed path
You will learn more about the 8-limbed yoga path according to Patanjali: Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi. Interesting knowledge from the yoga sutra, presented in an understandable way for today's world.
